"Settled in Antrim Twp, Cumberland County, PA, 1784. This county later became Franklin County, PA.
Executors of his estate are sons John and James. Neither of these are named in their mother's will, her executors being son Edward and James Crook. Edward and Mar, probably minors in 1778, are not mentioned in their father's will."

Edward, James, John and Joseph are all found in the book "American Revolutionary Soldiers of Franklin County, Pennsylvania" by Virginia Shannon Fendrick for the Franklin County Chapter, DAR. The four brothers all served in the Revolution accordint to this.
